I've been trying to get some pictures of my three year old, since before he turned three. It is just not easy to get eye contact. Anyway here is a few of the ones we took today.
I was taking pics of my son trying out different locations in our house. It turns out the evening sun in my youngests room is pretty good for picture taking.
My son lost his best friend, and on his birthday. I don't know how long it typically takes to get over losing a pet, but I think it will take longer with a three year old in the house. He asked again today where Edy was and why can't the doctor fix her. It's been rough, we were visiting with the neighbors and all Ben did was follow around their dog. He loved our dog, probably more than anyone, except maybe my husband.
Our sweet puppy died yesterday. We are out of sorts this week, as it was pretty sudden. She was only 7 and way too young to die, I envisioned her being around a lot longer. We will move on, but it is quiet around the house and so we remember her.
We went for a walk this morning. It was so much fun, we looked at trains, flowers and fountains. It didn't turn out to be the photo session I was hoping for, but that may never happen.
He really doesn't like getting his picture taken. Actually when I get my camera out he often goes running in the other direction. So this is what I'm left with.
It's going to be slow for a while, I just got a new laptop and I am trying not to put as many pictures on it. I have an external hard drive for my pictures, but this computer has Vista and quite frankly it a huge pain. I have to figure out all the little things that are different, but most important is the fact that a lot of my programs are not compatible with the Vista system. So if your in the market for a new computer, my suggestion is stay away from Vista and get a Mac.
The weather has been gorgeous, so of course we've been outside everyday. This is great for the kids, not my allergies. I haven't gotten very good pictures, because I can barely see out of my bloodshot, swollen eyes, let alone get a good shot. Here is one of Jack, he really doesn't like getting his picture taken.
I took pictures of my friends new baby last week. There are so many adorable pictures it's hard to choose just one. I love this one, though, she is so adorable.
Ben was having fun pointing out his favorite ornaments. I thought the picture would be better, but it was still a sweet moment to capture.

Ben is enjoying these last few days of warmer weather. I don't know what we are going to do when it gets too cold to play outside.
As hard as it is to believe from the looks in the picture, the kids had a blast on Halloween. We have waay tooo much candy, so I'm sure dental work is in our future.

We had some friends over and played cards and had some drinks...they aren't all her drinks by the way.
Today I got a smile....he thought it was funny that I wanted to take pictures of him in his fireman coat.
