Pessl used Excel spreadsheet to track her plot, characters, etc. In writing dialogue, I've found it helpful to know who my character. Where are they from? What kinds of words would they use? Are they emotional, overly-rational, etc. They end up writing their own dialogue at that point.<BR/><BR/>I didn't know you wanted to write!
